Our History

For over 60 years, the members of Calvary Baptist Church of Marysville have been serving God faithfully through cooperate worship, biblical preaching, missions, and community outreach. In 1955, our church was founded by families who came together with a common love for God and learning His Word, and has since continued to grow and mature in the faith together. The congregation initially began worshipping in the homes of members, then eventually in tents on the land that was donated for the first building. In 1960, our first church building was completed, and services were held there for 40 years. In 2000, our new and current church was built. Since the beginning, members of CBC have been dedicated to God, His Word, and sharing the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ with others locally and globally. Our mission is “To lead unbelievers to Christ and believers toward Christ likeness.”
